        On the morning of June 2, Rogier Janssens, President of Merck China, led a delegation to the Shenzhen-Hong Kong Cell Valley for a site visit and exchange. Professor Shi Yuanyuan, Chairman and General Manager of the Cell Valley Group, together with his core team, extended a warm welcome. The two sides held in-depth discussions on cutting-edge areas including cell and gene therapy, biomedical innovation and translation, and the integration of international resources, laying a solid foundation for future collaboration.

During the exchange, Professor Shi Yuanyuan accompanied the delegation on a tour of the smart exhibition hall and product display area, showcasing the Cell Valley's core technologies, innovative products, and latest research achievements. He elaborated on the group's core competitive advantages, highlighting R&D breakthroughs and clinical progress in immune cells, stem cells, viral vectors, exosomes, and related fields. President Rogier Janssens spoke highly of the Cell Valley's technological strength and development potential, and introduced Merck's global footprint and technical expertise in the life science and healthcare sectors.

Professor Shi Yuanyuan remarked that the Cell Valley has always focused on the frontier of cell and gene therapy, deeply cultivating local industrial innovation and actively connecting with high-quality global industrial resources.
